We have chosen the FIDOtrack system for measuring Radon in the medium and long term measurements. The detector consists of a special polymer plastic (PADC or more commonly CR-39) and contained in a small diffusion chamber of conductive material. After a treatment in a caustic soda solution, the analysis is carried out using a precision optical microscope and a software processes the traces left by the Radon. Receive the detectors from us, position them according to the instruction inside the package, and at the end of the exposure period send them back to us and receive an official certificate with the outcome of the measurement via e-mail (all include the price).

Radon is a natural radioactive gas comes from the ground, can concentrate in homes, workplaces and any close ambient. The main reason which you need to measure the Radon level is:
- Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, according to EPA estimates;
- In many areas over 10% of homes have Radon level greater than 100 Bq/m³, a level beyond which the World Health Organization considers Radon a risk for the population;
- In areas considered critical, the percentage of homes with Radon levels above 100 Bq/m³ rises to over 20%. According to the latest updates of the ICRP (International Commission on Radiological Protection), the risk is more present in houses, where we spend most of our time.
