The Radon Scout Home is used for long-term monitoring of the legal reference value for the radon concentration in breathing air. The radon monitor was specially designed for homeowners as well as tenants, lessors and housing companies.
The Radon Scout Home:
Records the transient behavior of the radon concentration over many years reliably, meaning that influences on weather conditions and seasonal changes are safely recorded. Sensors for temperature and humidity provide information about a healthy indoor climate. The measurement data can be read out at any time for the preservation of evidence.
The Radon Scout Home + Pressure sensor:
It has an additional sensor for barometric pressure measurement as opposed to the standard version of Radon Scout Home.
The Radon Scout Home + CO2 sensor*:
It is the perfect solution for indoor air quality monitoring. The instrument measures the dangerous rare gas Radon as well as CO2, the most important indication for the air quality. Thus, the user can check whether the statutory limits for Radon are exceeded or not and at the other hand the instrument signalizes immediately when a room should be ventilated. To prevent mould formation, temperature and humidity are monitored as well.
* Please note that, since the CO2 sensor is very energy-consuming, this instrument must be connected during CO2 measurement with an external power source (power bank, USB port of the PC or socket via the supplied AC adapter). Without permanent power supply, only radon, temperature and humidity are further measured to avoid very fast discharge of built-in batteries.

The RADON SCOUT HOME is made of hard plastic, and it is a robust instrument. There is a display, a LED indicator, and one button in front of the device. At the bottom, there is a USB socket and a turn on/off button.
The RADON SCOUT HOME has three models. The standard model, plus the Radon sensor, measure humidity and temperature. You can add pressure or a CO2 sensor to the standard model. However, for each device, only one of the pressure and CO2 sensors can be added, and not both of them. The instrument’s display shows the radon averages for the past 24h and the radon average since the start of a measurement series. To see the temperature and humidity, you need to press the button once. At this point and if you have pressure or CO2 sensors included, their information will also be visible on display. By pressing the button another time, a beautiful yellow backlight illuminates. It could be helpful in dark environments.
The button under the device turns off and on the instrument. Each time the instruments turn on, a new series of measurement starts. In this way, a professional can measure different locations and manage them easily.
